About Jon

Howdy! My name is Jon Petersen and I’m a graphic design student in my senior year at Penn State. My designs include a combination of modernism and naturalism, blending the line between beauty and functionality, while also including a sustainability goal or two in the process. I am extremely interested in branding, packaging, photography and experiential design, while also having experience in editorial, UI/UX, motion, product and exhibition design.

A few fun facts about me is that I have been a pole vaulter for 8 years, and currently compete for Penn State on their varsity team. I also love playing beach volleyball, traveling the world, and doing wildlife and landscape photography. As you can see through some of my designs, I’m a little bit of an environmentalist, and being able to influence my design with the beauty of nature has always been a keystone in my process. Although that does not limit my abilities.
